Greetings Tina, My name is Simon-Pierre Daoust and I\'m one of the grandson of Paul-André Daoust, baker and owner of the Boulangerie Daoust in Ile Perrot. My mother, sister and I lived at the 604 Boul. Perrot (right next to the bakery) for many years. I have multiple memories and facts to share with you for your mother\'s memoire, if that is still relevant and interests you. I could even arrange a personnal visit of the \'remains\' of the bakery if you wish. Better make it quick though, it\'s in the process of being sold and demolished. I am writing my mothers memoires and am including a story of how much she liked d’Aoust bread which Mr. d’Aoust delivered on Saturday and she htought Tuesdays. Mr. d’Aoust senior always had a little chat with her when doing the collecting of money on Saturday. His son who to K over the business was hoping to have a son to eventually take over the business from him but he had about five daughters and worried that none of them would want to take over the bakery. Can you tell me more about the wonderful bakery? I would love to include the information in my mother’s memoires
